📏 6 Ways to Measure Your Student for the Perfect Uniform Fit

1. HEIGHT

For best results, measure barefoot with feet flat on the floor and heels against a wall. Measure from the top of the head straight down to the ground.

2. NECK

Position the tape measure around the base of the neck where a shirt collar would naturally sit. Leave a little extra room, avoid pulling the tape too tightly.

3. Chest

Take the tape measure through the underarms, around the fullest part of the chest.

4. Waist

Measure the natural waistline, not pulling too tightly to ensure comfort.

5. Hips

Stand upright with heels together and wrap the tape measure around the widest part of the hips and bottom.

6. Inside leg

This time with shoes on, measure from the inside leg down to where the trouser typically rests on the shoe. If you're unsure, a good guide is for the trouser hem to sit about 5cm above the ground.
